Know Your Tsunami Hazard in Kodiak, ALASKA
This is a collection of resources, for teachers and students, about tsunamis to better understand them, why they occur, and what we can do to prepare for them. While the focus is on Kodiak Island, in Alaska, many of the resources are applicable wherever tsunamis occur.

In case of a community wide incident the Emergency Operations Center will relay information to the public via local radio stations: 98.7 FM KVOK, 100.1 FM KMXT, and NIXEL Community Message Center.
