The Ultimate Guide: What is Screencasting and Why Use it?
A screencast is a digital video recording of your computer screen and usually includes audio narration.

How to screen Record with your Ipad
Enable Screen Recording:
- Go to Settings --> Control Center --> Customize Controls.
- If Screen Recording is not in the top INCLUDE section, find it in the MORE CONTROLS section. Tap on the green dot next to it to move it to the INCLUDE section.
- Exit Settings.
- Access the Control Center by swiping from the top right corner area to the middle of the iPad. The Screen Recording icon will appear somewhere on the screen. In the example below (refer to Image 1 below), it is the second icon on the bottom row. Yours may appear in a different location.
- Press and hold on the Screen Recording icon to access more information (refer to Image 2 below). Note that you will need to tap on the microphone (at the bottom of this pop-up screen) to enable the microphone. For demonstration purposes, Photos is selected so that the screen recorded video will be saved to the Camera Roll (Links to an external site.).
